United We Stand: Voluntary Membership Program
In response to the COVID-19 crisis, the IUJAT has created the UNITED WE STAND VOLUNTARY MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM to assist employees who have been laid off or furloughed. Its purpose is to connect employees to our union and provide them access to important benefits and services in their time of need. Employees who join the IUJAT’s voluntary membership program will have access to benefits and services, such as:
BROAD DISCOUNT RX CARD
The card is free to use for members and their eligible dependents. The discounts are provided right at the pharmacy. The member is simply responsible for paying the balance of the drug cost after the discount is applied.
GVS VISION PLAN
Members and their eligible dependents will have access to a vision plan for free for 90 days from the start of enrollment into the United We Stand Voluntary Membership Program.
HEALTHPLEX DENTAL PLAN
Members and their eligible dependents will have access to a dental plan for free for 90 days from the start of enrollment into the United We Stand Voluntary Membership Program.
MEDICAL CONCIERGE SERVICE
Our staff will be your personal medical navigator and assist with coordinating care, negotiating bills from providers, finding alternative coverage, and helping with balance billing for members and their eligible dependents.
UNEMPLOYMENT AND GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE CONCIERGE SERVICE
Our staff will assist members with unemployment insurance and other government financial assistance programs by helping them navigate the application process.
UBENEFIT PROGRAM
Members and their eligible dependents will have access to the suite of benefits and discount programs available through IUJAT’s UBenefit Program for free.
GREENPATH FINANCIAL WELLNESS
IUJAT is pleased to introduce our latest UBenefit from GreenPath Financial Wellness, offering services, such as credit counseling and debt management, as well as a host of programs and resources geared specifically toward guiding clients through the financial impacts of the COVID-19 crisis. LIFE INSURANCE
First Reliance Standard provides participants with Basic Life Insurance coverage up to $5,000.
